A better version of Sea World!

We are busy loading up the van to head to Florida for the

week and the kids are so excited.

They have all been waiting on the edge of there seats for when

we tell them to jump in the Van so we can start our trip.

Jackson in particular is most excited to see Sea World.

To pass time Jackson set up a Sea World in the kitchen for the

girls to bring there dolls to.  I have been busy loading up but I

had to go get my camera out of the van because I thought this

Sea World was to cute to pass up.

Each bowl had a different sea animal in it.

Looks like these tourists are having a blast!

I feel bad for this guy below he some how fell into the tank with a shark and killer octopus. {yikes}

 Sweet Elizabeth! Notice she is missing a tooth.

  That was quite the excitment around here last week.

Every time I get to experience a first with her I feel so blessed.

Ok well we are off

let's see how the real Sea World compares {grin}

Snow Day

We have had a couple snow days this year and it cracks me

up because it seems as soon as a few flakes fall from the sky

they call off everything.  I am originally from the Chicago

area were I remember driving to school in a near blizzard

and sliding off the road because they rarely called school off

for snow.  I love snow days with the kids because it is so

rare to have a lazy, cozy day like this with Jackson.  I have

really been missing all the time I had with him before he

started kindergarten.  Max and Zoe had to stay warm and

cozy inside because they have both been sick.

I don't think there is anything cuter than a bunch of kids in

snow suits {grin}.

The little man who started it all.

Jackson turned 6 over the weekend.  Where did the time go.  The day he was born he just melted my heart.  After hours and hours of pushing and then an emergency c-section God gave me this beautiful little man.  He was all beat up looking and ginormous.  He kept raising his fists like this in the picture and everyone kept calling him the hulk.  He was 9lbs 13 ounces and almost 23 inches long.
The moment I held him we bonded.  He has been a Mama's boy ever since.  Jackson is a strong boy on the outside but he has the gentlest sole of anyone I have ever met.  He has such a love for people and a heart for God.  He still desperately needs my cuddles and I hope that never changes.
He is an amazing artist.  He would spend all day drawing and wearing costumes if I let him.  He loves to learn and ask lots of questions.  He is eager to please.  He is responsible, talkative, full of energy and always up for an adventure.

God knew what he was doing when he made me responsible for this little man.  Jackson Elias made me a mother.  He has taught me so much about myself.  I love seeing the world through his eyes. I couldn't be more proud of you Jackson and I can't wait to see what else I am going to learn from you.
